For 70 years, Bürklin has been one of the leading B2B "high-service" distributors for electronic components with a clear e-commerce focus. With the content, visual and communicative rebranding, visibility and relevance among existing and new target groups are to be increased, thus providing a growth impulse for the company. Focus topics for the refresh were customer benefits, digitalization, and sustainability.

Brand Experience

The core of the brand development was central eCommerce and webshop UX criteria, which were developed and defined in conjunction with the Bürklin webshop development unit. During the brand refresh, the focus was on optimizing the UX and appearance. Journey mapping and persona definition were the basis for the functional, structural, interactive and visual conception, which we transferred into a GUI asset library together with the Bürklin Dev-team. We extracted brand essentials from the UX setup and transferred them into the design basics. Subsequently, adaptation to different touchpoints, target groups and channels followed: social media, online ads, spatial experience, merchandising, trade fairs and events.



The new brand claim "Bürklin bringt’s" sums up the new positioning. For the in-depth exploration of the claim, we developed a content ecosystem, which is also the roadmap for Bürklin's launch, image, and campaign communication in 2024. The ecosystem is designed to be continuously expanded and scaled editorially and organically.


Bürklin delivers unser friendly digital guidelines

We put the core features of the brand experience in a simple, powerful brand portal that is truely optimized for mobile use. We developed and implemented the portal exclusively for Bürklin. All stakeholders can explore the basics of the brand appearance at any time in a decentralized manner. Interfaces to Google Drive correspond to a DAM solution and make data, media and assets easy and clear to download. An integrated text search function enables quick and user-friendly access to relevant content.
