By this, however, the Karlsruhe-based company not only means its own steadily advancing transformation from a traditional energy service provider to a holistic infrastructure partner, but also refers to today's challenges posed by changing ways of working, new customer needs and dynamic market conditions. The resulting expansion of the »Renewable Energies« segment with a focus on networking and product innovations is consequently examined from different perspectives in this year's image section.
A lot is changing at EnBW – but there is one constant. As a brand companion in transformation processes, we again provided conceptual and visual support for the development process of this year's annual report. This year's design concept follows on seamlessly from last year's and thus forms the second part of a trilogy that will continue next year with the Annual Report 2020. The basic idea behind the concept, which won last year's German Design Award in the »Editorial« category, is the visual translation of »EnBW in transition« into a sketchy, handmade, overall impression that feels like it is »in the making« - with the brushstroke drawn by human hands as a striking design element. On the one hand, this illustrates that people are always at the center of change processes, and on the other hand, that although forward-looking projects of the energy supplier in Karlsruhe have been started, they are far from being completed and should rather be understood as a long-term, iterative process.
Next year, we will continue on this path together and are already looking forward to tomorrow's topics and thus to the third part of the design series.
